i know that Bluetooth Apple Keyboard isn't fully supported under BootCamp/XP.

but it's working for the most part. after XP boots, just restart the switch on the bottom, let BT recognize it, and comes up. yeah, a pain but at least it works.

also, F# keys, volume, and eject buttons doesn't work. the workarounds are all done with a mouse.

i do have a USB Apple keyboard, but it's just a more of a hassle to switch keyboards going back and forth from OSX & XP.

...so how are you guys dealing with it? any good solution regarding the restart-switch (XP not recognizing BT right away a la OSX)? what about F# keys?

I do the same as you when it comes to the pairing issue with the keyboard. I do not however recall having any problems with the F keys. And I use CD Eject Tool for the superdrives.

the only thing that bothers me is the control key, is there a way to map windows ctr key to apples command key?

does this mean you got your BT apple keyboard working just like regular USB keyboard?

btw, i also get ctrl key confused with Apple key in Windows.

well the only things that doesnt work under windowsare the volume and eject keys. No big deal for me sinse I can always use the eject key on the MBP keyboard.

I found an application that let you remap the keyboard in windows and was able to switch the windows key for the Ctrl key. Nice. Is very small and free. I will post a link later on.

obviously not or apple would have added proper bluetooth keyboard support into bootcamp by now :o

It's been a long while since the last update, maybe with the final version & leopard they have sorted it ?

Edit:-

Actually from my own experience Bluetooth keyboard seems to work without having to flick the power switch on the bottom with XP, all the way upto the point you install the bootcamp drivers. So it's somthing to do with Apples drivers.

Anyone know if this has been fixed in Bootcamp 1.2? How about Parallels? I am ordering a Mac Pro and my fiancee hates cables (so do I) but she is also not all that great with computers. She needs Windoze for school, and I don't want her to have to futz with the keyboard, it'll just make her angry. Should I get the BT, or stick to USB?

It's a pain getting the bluetooth keyboard recognized everytime you restart into bootcamp under windows. Then the volume keys and eject button isn't recognized under bootcamp.

Under parallels the keys work because the are affecting both environments, OS X being the main one.

Hi guys

I too have been frustrated. So I've developed a little tool the will make the eject button work, and if you hold down the right apple button while clicking, it will do a right click. Visit http://www.webshopstop.co.uk/MCEAddons/index.html to download

Hope it helps :)
