Hi, not sure if this is the best spot for this thread but....

I have a PDF, it's about 10 pages long. I would like to export each page individually. I selected "Export all images" and that worked great, but I can only export as .jpg or .tiff ect... you know...images...

I want to export the individual pages as a .PDF or even .DOCS

any suggestions ??

thanks

:)

What program are you using? With Acrobat 7, you can do it using Document --> Extract Pages...

Hmm...it doesn't seem that difficult to do, but maybe it was new in 7. I don't have any machines here with 6 on them, so I'll have to wait until I get home in a few hours to check.

Edit: A quick Google search suggests that Acrobat 6 should be able to do this in the exact same manner I described above. Did you check your Document menu for that option?

Using Preview, print the selected page range to a PDF.

It should work just fine with Acrobat 6...here (http://www.nynd.uscourts.gov/cmecf/documents/SPLITTINGPDFDOCUMENTSINTOMULTIPLEDOCUMENTSWITHACROBAT6.pdf) is one page I found on it.

PDF's are great as far as having a document format that can be opened on any platform with a free reader than is readily available, but is anyone else besides me frustrated at the fact that no one seems to actually AUTHOR documents properly in PDF and use the features that are available in the product? PDF has practically become the new "print to file" format rather than what it was truly meant to be.

I'll try that today and see what happens
