Does anyone have any idea why I wouldn't get sound when I play this file? The video comes in wonderfully...

I had this problem too, and found this solution (which worked for me):

Basically:
1. Launch /Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup
2. Change "Properties For:" to Built-in Output
3. Set "Format:" to 44100 Hz (mine had been 96000Hz which was the problem).

It worked beautifully. I was in meetings all day and I rushed hope and was able to maintain the protective bubble. Thanks MacRumors!

I could enjoy the Keynote live experience completely un-spoilered. Great job, MR Team. After years of reading, I registered to make my first post today. Greetings from Switzerland!

a 2 hour you tube file would be rubbish quality, someone would have to go and slice it up.
there is talk of apple making it avalible as a podcast download tho

Have you tried both of the available streams? The full one is the full one, the other one cuts the first 20 minutes or so, but you could always come back to that later...?

It's 100mb in size not that great quality (320x176) but it's ok watched on tv. I watched it through xbmc and it's the real deal.
