Hi all,

I have a new macbook pro and I am trying to install my Windows XP Pro (SP2) disk, I get the following error:

the file pci.sys is corrupted.

There is nothing wrong with the disk itself and I have even installed it on my iMac.

So, is there anything I can do to avoid the above error message?

Thanks

Are you getting the error during the install? Sounds like the only thing it could be is a corrupt file in the install disc.

I'm using a genuine windows disk, it works on my pc and my imac.

Maybe Google can help. (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=pci.sys&btnG=Google+Search) I don't have any idea beyond that.
