Do Macs come with the network card built in?
Or do you have to purchase it seperately?
Cause I'm thinking about getting a Mac.
But I need to know if it has a network card built in so I can be a part of my house's network.

Yes, all Macs come with an Ethernet NIC installed (just not a modem).

All current Macs have built in ethernet ports. Most also have built in WiFi. The ethernet ports are gigabit too :D

Wow that was a quick answer in one min. Most all computers have built in network jacks. I can't imagine that they would sell one without it

Well I guess the needs to be clearer on what he is asking, but I think he is asking about the RJ45 jack in the machine. Or is he asking about the wireless feature

Well, either way, all he/she needs to do is look on the website. ;)
