Obviously, it doesn't exist.
We've all seen the fake picture. But If it were real, would you buy it? Maybe as a luggable, Possibly as a laptop, probably a desktop replacement.
Would you, if it had the same specs and priceing as a MBP?
Would you buy this?

I think it's more meant to be loved from afar. :D
Do you mean, if there were a Mac with identical specs to the MBP save for a mythical low heat G5? I think I'd go for the C2D, sadly. Being able to run Windows if I want to is a really nice plus. Although my own mythical Apple weighs 3.5 lbs and has a >5 hr battery life. :o I could almost care less what it ran on. :)

I don't think so. The advantages of C2D are greater than the G5's (at this point, for a laptop). Faster upgrade cycles, dual booting, etc

What is the advantage of a ginormous G5? Unless it has ungodly graphics horsepower, its not worth it.

Which would allow you unlimited smugness on the forums. Good times would follow !
I'd pick up a G5 Powerbook, it's like the philosophers stone or unicorn, an item with rare and fabled powers....

It would have been nice to see a practical and powerful PowerBook, the MacBook Pro is fine.

I'll vote "yes" as well, but only if I forget to take my meds.
