Hi all,

My installation seems to be running fine in both windows and mac, however, when I head over to the boot camp utility, I get the following error:

Your startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.

Back up the disk and use disk utility to format as a single Mac OS Extended (Journled) volume.
Restore your information to the disk and try using boot camp assistant again.

Ok, this is fine, but I need some assistance with backup. I want to keep all my application, setting, emails etc. I have looked at Carbon Copy Cloner, that seems to do what I need, but, what is the best way for me to backup. Here is what I have:

External 250Gb hard drive - however, this hard drive has 5 years of backup on it, although there is more than enough room for my current mac setup, I don't want to format it and lose existing data.

I have plenty of DVDs too.

Help

Lee :)
