Apple's iTunes Plans to Offer Viacom Movie Titles

Apple Computer Inc.'s iTunes movie service is set to bulk up with the addition of catalog movie titles owned by Viacom Inc.'s Paramount Pictures.
In a deal that Apple Chief Executive Steve Jobs could announce as early as Tuesday at his Macworld conference, Apple plans to start selling Paramount titles on its iTunes service, according to people familiar with the situation.
For the moment, the deal will only cover Paramount's back catalog, the people said. Paramount's catalog includes titles such as "Forrest Gump," "Mission: Impossible" and "The Truman Show."
