question about epson C60

I was given an Epson C60 and decided to try it as a dedicated B&W printer . I can't get it to work with my OSX 10.4.8 ibook. Must I have a color cartidge in it to work? It came with no instructions. Any ideas out there?

It probably requires the color cart.

Honestly, I suggest you toss the Epson and get yourself a cheap laser printer if you just want B/W printing. I can elaborate if you'd like but I have nothing good to say about Epson inkjets from the days when the C60 was released.

I think you have to have the color installed in the printer for it to do anything. Just like the other said either trash it or buy the color cartage to get it to work
