Hey all,

I'm trying to figure out the best way to connect a MacBook Pro to my TV (to watch videos on a bigger screen). The TV has RCA input (no HDMI, sadly, it's quite oldish), and obviously the MacBook Pro has DVI and, if needed, the DVI->VGA adaptor it ships with. My question is, is using a DVI--> RCA cable preferable to a VGA-->RCA cable, and secondly, do either of these cables actually exist? I quickly searched on the sites I usually use for such things and turned up nothing. Thanks for your time :)

Apple DVI-Video adapter (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=M9267G/A)

Would this work? Does composite (yellow) and S-Video.

Less conversions (DVI -> Video as opposed to DVI -> VGA -> Video) would be better for your picture, maybe marginally, but still.
