Adobe Reader 8 problems

Just installed Adobe Reader 8 but whenever I go to open a PDF through Firefox the only choice I have available is "Preview" as default. What am I doing wrong? There must be a way for Firefox to recognize I have Adobe Reader installed now. I even tried to restart the OS, but that still didn't change anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bah...Adobe Reader sucks. I zapped it and went back to preview. Nuff said.

Except the newer PDF's don't function properly in Preview; such as IRS forms.

Find one of the PDF documents in Finder. Get Info (command I) on it and change the Open With... list to point to Adobe Reader. Click the Change All... button to affect all documents of that type.
