Did everybody miss the point? The iPhone is the iPod transitioning into a Mac!! It's essentially the smallest Mac ever made. That's what makes it the biggest news at MacWorld.

agreed with both of the above, the traditional mac is facing new alternatives, not to be replaced, i honestly cant see garageband or iMovie being done properly on an iPhone, heck, its kinda difficult on a laptop! but yea, for a lot of email, contact and basically all communications, the iPhone is probably going to be the lead mac in that area.
