Many people who buy the nano pay the same price they'd pay for a video because they intend to be rough with it (running, walking, etc). I cannot imagine how 1) an adhesive belt clip is a good idea 2) why would anyone want a case in which you would have to open or slide or clap your hands flip it up just to change the volume, pause, play, forward, back etc?

All of that seems silly and I can't be happier with my iSee from Contour. Not trying to be a fan, but hey--if it works then it works. Not to mention it comes with a silicon click wheel protector thingy.

Logic going astray

if you are going to be rough with it surely you will want to protect it.

I have the same case as you, i really dont like the silicon cover for the click wheel, boy is that thing crap. Might actually buy this case as i want full protection. I had the Belkin folio case, but it didnt cover the corners and my ipod got badly chipped. Now since i lost that iPod and i have a new one (thanks to my gorgeous partner) i want to give it full protection.

I bought a clear plastic cover for my nano for $5 off of Overstock and it works fine. To each his own I guess. Of course, I'm not that rough with it.
