Apple sent a rep, or a guy that happens to work for Apple in the video development department went to the show and asked some questions and offered some demos?

LOL.

Porn is a huge industry, and unlike film, 100% of its content, be it delivered via web downloads or DVD's, is acquired with video. Can you imagine how huge a market that is for people liek Apple and Adobe!

Hey Mudbug don't knock it. I imagine it must have been a hard sell for the guy. At least the porn industry is upfront about what it does, so Apple was just looking to offer its hardware and software to help produce a better Final Cut (no pun intended ;) )

no no - not knocking it... I just don't remember Apple ever making an announced appearance at any of the porn shows. There's no doubt they are aware of the porn industry as being a major client in the video arena, and they're aware that porn is usually the first adopters of new tech. I just don't think they've been public about the support in the past.

Yup, this is it... At the end of the day, business is business... money is money.

The word 'smut' isn't a great one though, but what you gonna do...

Hell, half of the industry is probably already cutting on apple hardware, the workflow benefits alone would save tons of time and time = money, you've got to wear it out while it's still young.

watch enough porn, youll see every LiveType animation, background and object, every Soundtrack Loop and pretty much lots and lots of other things that just smack:

amateur & mac user

not that the two belong together, but if you cant take the time to at least tweak a preset, then you suck more than the girls you filmed.
