iPod Widescreen iPod

So know that the iPhone has been released, will there ever be a wide screen iPod sans iPhone features. Just curious.

I know I will probably get an iPhone seeing that I will be moving to the US.

But in the event that someone has a phone already but want a widescreen iPod will that be available?
