I'm getting close to selling my Flower Power iMac:
500MHz - G3
640MB RAM
160GB Seagate 7200rpm, 8MB Cache drive
Combo Drive (DVD/CD-RW)
Airport Card
Tiger w/CD and manual
Original Box and all original accessories
Original keyboard and mouse
Everything is in perfect working order and condition.
Smoke free/pet free home
I'm getting married and need to thin down on the hardware. This machine has been my living room machine for the past two years and working great!
What do you think I could get for it?
Anyone here interested in it?
Am I missing anything from the list above?
Tiger run really well on this machine due to the RAM and fast hard drive.
Thanks much!

Ooh, I'm interested.
$150 plus like $15 for UPS shipping seems reasonable to me. iMacs like that can be had for $30 at the local shop, but the RAM and AP card help the value a lot.

I'll be back in touch once I have confirmed the specs and have pictures ready. Thanks for the interest. :)

Since this is a feeler thread...
Flower power 500Mhz iMacs definitely go for more than $30 on EBay. And you have a good-sized HD and fair amount of RAM. The biggest kicker is the Airport card, which is discontinued and thus gets good prices.
That being said, $150 plus shipping is a reasonable offer IMO (shipping will cost more than $15 though.)
You'd make the most selling the Airport card separately and EBaying both, but that's obviously more work for maybe not too much more money ($60 or so.)

I'll make a tentative offer of $175 plus shipping. I'd like to see those pics.

Hi
~$200 is probably the market. It will probably cost ~$30 to ship it Parcel, maybe Priority.

Isn't Parcel a waste for something that heavy?

I remember shipping out two g3 imacs a few years ago, and shipping was around $50 for each one and it was the cheapest I could find. I'm interested in this imac once you get a more firm price down. :-)

If you know what you're getting, the G3 iMacs are really nice computers. They run OS X fine, are totally silent (no fan in the newer models), and run basic tasks pretty well.
The cheapest shipping might be FedEx Ground, they're cheaper than UPS. US Postal Service can get expensive for heavier stuff, especially via Priority.

But...but...but it's a FLOWER POWER iMac!
Seriously, these things seem pretty rare and are really cool looking, IMO. I'd probably snatch this one up, but I don't have the room for another computer.
