Any feedback is welcome.

The source code is in the download section, not in the CVS yet.

I have uploaded the binary to http://sourceforge.net/projects/winmacirdriver.

If it works, enjoy...

If it doesn't work, please email to me. I collected 3 kinds of IR code in the current release, maybe the IR code of your remote control is not among them...

Thats amazing. If I decide to run Vista, I'll defiantly run that. Great work :) (Has this even been done on XP?)

I think it's not difficult to port it to XP systems. However, I have no XP to test it. I'm enjoying Vista...:)

I made a 1.0.0.3 release. It should support more remote controls.:)

Any chance of this getting ported to Windows XP? I can get the drive to install, but when I try and run the app I get a not a Win32 application error.

Cheers

I don't mean to offend the original poster but I would be very hesitant to download software posted by a newbie to this board. I'm sure I'm wrong about zxli but it wasn't too long ago that some newbie posted a trojan (may not be the correct technical term) in these forums masquerading as a jpg.

Bad stuff doesn't make it's way there

Source code is also on the SourceForge, with the building steps. Microsoft Platform SDK and Windows Driver Kits are needed to build the source code...

1.0.0.4 release is on SourceForge now. I've got the first working report from InsanelyMac forum. Very happy...

Theres got to be someone here who can get this going for Windows XP. Vista and XP are pretty different but still fairly similar from what I've read.

I'll throw in a cookie to whoever gets and XP port going.
