So... somehow, Preview has completely disappeared from my macbook. The only documentation I can find says to back up your data then erase and reinstall Mac OS X from the installation disk. I honestly don't remember ever seeing an installation disk in my macbook box, and I certainly can't find one anywhere (and I still have the box, if that tells you how anal I am about keeping things). So is there a way to get my hands on one? Is there a way to download Preview from a site? HELP!

your macbook would have come with installation disks. You might be able to re-install the app without installing everything else.

It's just like going to the mechanic for that clicking noise in your engine. As soon as you pull it into their garage, the problem is gone.:rolleyes: I found the installation disks (they were right where they are supposed to be). Apparently I am just blind. Sorry.

no, you've just got/had a mild case of D.H.S!

DuhHuhSyndrome: a colorless, odorless and tasteless disease that strikes without warning and renders it's victims essentially brainless for anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 days, then suddenly disappears just as soon as you think you have found a cure!

Be sure to see your MD if this happens more than once a day :D

What I meant is reinstalling OSX for preview is kinda overkill :rolleyes:
