I've been around. I've been staying away from the political forums a bit as the decontamination process I need to go through afterwards can get a bit tiring..

That is actually unfortunate. Did the airline really think an obnoxious shirt is really a threat? Although anyone who references the word "terrorist" on a plane these days is asking for trouble, and this guy really should have realized that it was a Bad Idea to do so, even in the context of a political shirt.

Of course we've had people removed from public political events here in this country for wearing shirts that express their political opinion...

And just to play devil's advocate, if a private business can refuse to sell you a cheesesteak sandwich because you can't / won't speak the proper language, why can't a private business kick you off a plane because your shirt doesn't contain the proper language?

Still, all in all this is a total overreaction (on everyone's part), it seems to me.
