I don't know when this happened exactly but sometime in the last month or two I lost the option to burn DVDs at 1x. Now when I burn data to a DVD, I am only offered "2x (more reliable)" and "4x (faster)". Has this happened to anyone else? What is going on? My coreduo macbook is 8 months old. Thanks for any info you can offer.
