This was leaked to me from a maid with a flash drive who was employed to clean the apartment of a high-ranking Mac Development Official. This was in his Email Drafts folder addressed to Mr. Jobs and somehow found its way onto her flash drive which she was using to clean dust from the USB port at the time.

Detailed System Description:

This operating system weighs in at around 2 pounds (750-820 grams) and stands at an average of 12 inches high (30 centimeters). The most agile of all operating systems, OS X Meerkat differs considerably from most its other system relatives. Unlike the typical Tiger / Panther system, Meerkat divides its system applications, tools and utilities into partitioned drive communities that depend on one another for survival. Meerkat has a 40% lower metabolic transfer rate then their counterpart operating systems to deal with the harsh Kalahari developing climate.

Startup drive disk space size is key, the smaller the system preference bundle the faster the loss and gain of body heat. The "mouse-to-system-to-user curve" measures this relationship. The general idea is as follows, Panther has a 50 times higher metabolic rate than Tiger (per megaByte of systemweight); therefore, the amount of RAM usage from input that Tiger needs to maintain its optimum performance is greater than Panthers, making the need for RAM gathering almost constant. Meerkat looses 5% of its RAM dependance in sleep mode making the search for disk allocations very important when not in sleep mode. Can you imagine losing 5% of your system productivity when exiting sleep mode? They can also get their system requirements from what they have downloaded onto their drives, so update sources while not a neccessity are helpful.

For finding files anywhere on your system Meerkats vision is outstanding. Simply hit Apple F and a little kat jumps up from the dock and looks left and right scanning your disk volumes at ferocious speed until finally scurrying off to retrieve your files.
They have a dark system band around their utilities, which reduces any glare from the user. As a result, Meerkat has the ability to see a required volume as they look directly into the system. Meerkat removes trashed files from its system by blinking. Between the trash and trash lid there is a virtual membrane called the nictitating membrane. This membrane acts as a windshield wiper and removes corrupt files from the system with every blink. The beta version of Meerkat entertained one slight problem with depth perception, not being able to focus within 20 clicks (6 windows) of their users. Often it would bob its dock icon up and down trying to get the perspective right. As a result of this nearsightedness, it would often miss windows directly brought to the front of them. They often depend on their sense of location to find volumes. This bug has been fixed in the full version of the operating system.

Meerkat's open source volumes live in underground disk drive burrows which consist of entrance holes, tunnels, and sleeping chambers. There may be up to 70 different entrances to the burrow system which may also serve as an (force quit) exit if the Meerkat is inside the burrow system. System files are territorial and maintain an area of about one to three square pixels. Their territorial expansion depends on the size of the internal hard drive capacity, as well as, the abundance of memory and disk priveleges in the area. Meerkat regulates its CPU territory with the use of its 'anal gland' (HOME directory) or cookies from its user license settings. This marking is done by the alpha male app on the system. They will protect their boundaries ferociously against other systems or network viruses.

Hmph! Relegated to the wastelands archive eh! Harsh Tokes. I'm totally in agreeance with the lube call Chundles (is your name the onomatopaeia of a fart that signals an oncoming beer bog??) but think you need to update your politcal satire. At least throw in a Kevin Rudd tag!? <yawn> </yawn>. Pianoman, I don't know that bit of the movie - you sure that wasn't a dream you had that featured Andy Garcia and George Clooney? I once had a dream where Danny Glover touched me up. I bought a black ipod 20gig the very next day. Now that's retail therapy!

leaked to you from a maid?

reminds me of Ocean's 11 where Clooney says "I know a guy who can help you find out what happened to the money." and Andy Garcia says "You know a guy." and then Clooney spends the next 3-6 months in jail.
