What's on your pizza?

Well lets find out what everyone on Mac Rumors likes on their pizza. :)

I will start!

My regular...

Thin Crust
Tomato sauce
Cheese
Chicken
Garlic
Mushrooms
Onions

When i feel more intense...

Thin crust

Anything except baked beans or pineapple, thanks.

My favourite toppings varies over time...

At the moment I'm usually having one with beef, pepperoni, garlic meatballs and onion. That's on a rather thick crust (all though I prefer thin - Italian style - crusts normally), with tomato sauce and lots and lots of Jarlsberg(?) cheese.

You can't go wrong with a thin (Italian) crust, cheese, spinach, and garlic pizza. :)

Mushrooms, Basil, Onions, and other veggies are good too. ...Just anything but meat! (yuck!)

If I get to choose, it's Pepperoni and Sausage. But usually it's determined by whatever the coupon says. (: I'm a cheap bastard. (:

meatball and onion is a good combination when i'm feeling up for it.

usually i'll stick with cheese and garlic, or pepperoni.

i like tomatoes on my pizza (as a topping) but the few places i order from don't do a good job so i usually only throw those on when i'm making my own pie.

my 2 favorite pizzas are creations from California Pizza Kitchen (http://www.cpk.com/menu/pizzas.aspx) (for those who are familiar): the BBQ chicken pizza and the Thai chicken pizza.

Usually, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers, but there are times when it's only anchovies and black olives.

Didn't we have one of these threads way back when?

When I'm on a budget, A large 14" cheese pizza for $3.99. Then I just add onion powder, garlic powder, garlic pepper and sometimes garlic salt.

But I'll eat almost any topping, not really picky but I prefer not to have bacon, sausage, pork or beef. Chicken and pepperoni are fine though.

I get custom made ones from ASDA :) only about £2.50 too.

12"-
chicken, bacon, sweetcorn, extra cheese, little sausages. regular base, no spices or out like that.

Run of the mill really :D too filling for me normally.

Tell you what though... Been making pizza dough with our bread maker, sticking it in a dish with garlic butter on top then put it in the oven for 10 mins. Best garlic bread ever. IMO.

Thats is also a very delicious combo!

YUmmy! Except for the ricotta cheese, i hate the stuff

Your first combo is delicious even better with some chicken...
Why no meat? Are you veggie? I like meat on my pizza in moderation, i sort of find it hard to eat the meat lovers kind of pizza, though sometime when i REALLY am hungry i will scarf down so meat pizza!

When i went to Italy, they, of course, have like the best pizza ever! And what cooler is that you dont share a pizza, they make you get your own.

Not to mention every city of Italy has there own style of Pizza, the Venice one was nice but the one in Ferrencé was a materpiece!

No (although I don't eat beef), I'm just not fond of meat (esp. pepperoni or sausage) on my pizza ...Although some sliced ham (or Canadian bacon) can be ok.

Pepperoni
Sausage
Bacon
Pineapple
Green Peppers
Jalapenos
Olives

Plenty of red pepper and/or garlic salt on top.

Of course I rarely get all of that on a pizza because there's always somebody eating it with me that doesn't like one or more of those things (esp. pineapple, my fav. pizza topping).

Depends on which place i'm at, as the quality of the ingredients varies wildly between places.

Round Table:
-Pepperoni
-Linguica

The Garret: (Local place in Campbell, CA)
-Pepperoni
-Italian Sausage
-Canadian Bacon

I prefer Round Table's sliced Linguica, as opposed to the ground/chopped Linguica that other places tend to use. It's a shame that more palces don't offer Canadian Bacon.

Abstract

As long as it has...

1) Garlic
2) Onions
3) moderate amounts of cheese

.....I'm game. Friends and family can add any of the following toppings to the pizza, and it'll still be cool with me: spinach, mushroom, Italian sausage, brocoli (yes, I know it's weird), beef ball things (Italian sausage, is it?), tomatoes, chicken, black olives, Canadian bacon, or even pineapple is fine.

In other words: I'm easy.

my 2 favorite pizzas are creations from California Pizza Kitchen (http://www.cpk.com/menu/pizzas.aspx) (for those who are familiar): the BBQ chicken pizza

I've never been to CPK, but I've had a few other BBQ chicken pizzas before, and they are awesome. My usual favorite is Hawaiian (pineapple (favorite fruit) and ham). I've also tried a chicken-broccolli alfredo pizza (awesome), and someone told me about Papa John's having a Hawaiian BBQ chicken pizza. *drool*
There's also a pizza/sub shop near me that has linguica and salami available. I've only had that combo in a calzone though, but DAMN is it good! (and greasy :p)
Whenever pizza gets ordered near me, my standard answer to "what do you want on it?" is "anything except mushrooms or anchovies". I'm somewhat fond of the black olive/green pepper/onion combo too.

Of course, I can't forget the Rhody favorite pizza strips. Basically dough with sauce, cut into strips or squares and served cold. Plus white pizza (sometimes with cheese and pepperoni) is awesome too.

I had a serious craving for Ledo's pepperoni pizza the other day. It was late, though, so I ended up just making the hubby get a frozen one from the grocery store. It hit the spot well enough. Lately, I like my pizzas simple--1 or 2 toppings. The toppings depend on the mood.

At Pizza Hut:
Individual Deep Pan Margherita with Red Onion and Sweetcorn on a BBQ base (instead of tomato). It's a heavenly combination.

Make my own:
A thinish, crunchy base covered in mountains of very thick tomato sauce, blended up with added black pepper and green chilli's. Then chopped red onion, then a thin but even covering of grated cheddar, then a layer of button mushrooms, red, green and yellow peppers, red pointed peppers and some slices of green chilli, topped off with another sprinkling of grated cheddar and then baked in a hot oven for about 15 minutes.

The local bakery and pizzeria makes a sourdough crust that elevates their pies above the competition without a single topping! Good sauce raises the bar.

Then add in any order:

Whole roasted garlic cloves
Crumbled feta cheese
Chopped sun-dried tomatoes
Chopped fresh basil
Shredded Italian cheese blend
Bachelor-night topping when my Non-Livestock-Eatatarian™ wife is doing field work - shredded chicken.

The only hitch is, I've got to doctor the shredded chicken, since the bakery doesn't offer it as a topping.

Second choice: same toppings on my home-made crust with garlic and asiago cheese blended into the dough.

I'll do one better... I'll tell you exactly how to make the pizza I usually eat:

Ingredients:
1 medium flour tortilla
pizza sauce (I use Ragu Homestyle)
banana peppers
ball of mozzarella cheese (NO pre-shredded crap... seriously it tastes like crap with pre-shredded)
block of parmasean cheese (NO pre-grated crap)

shred up your cheese... I use slightly more mozzarella than parm
brush the tortilla with olive oil and stick it in the oven at 350 until it is slightly crispy
put on as much sauce as you like
put 1/2 the cheese on
put banana peppers (or whatever, less superior toppings you wish)
put rest of cheese on

bake it till it looks edible

enjoy.

I like the chicago style with sausage.

Though there are times where I go with a hawaiian pizza.

I love the pizza hut deep dish crust. So crisp and yummy.

Once when I made it myself I had french fries on top. I used a mix of half tomato sauce and half ketchup. Yummy

Really? I love a good "Hawaiian" pizza with pineapple, Canadian bacon, red onions, and barbecue sauce. Why it's called "Hawaiian", I have no idea. Except, perhaps, for the pineapples.

My favorite though is our homemade seafood pizza with olive oil sauce, minced garlic, chopped "popcorn" shrimp, crab, and a little clam with monterey jack cheese.

Yum.

My usual favourite is Chicken and Sweetcorn on a BBQ Base - Dominos and Pizza Hut both do this very well.

My current variation on this is currently Tandoori Chicken, Sweetcorn, Pepperoni and Meatballs, all on a BBQ Base from Dominos. So, so good.
