I picked up the new James Bond DVD sets a few weeks ago and started to watch Dr. No (1962) this past weekend. I was amazed at how similar a portion of the opening credits were to the current line of iPod commercials.

I took a screen shot from the movie and have posted it next to a screen shot from the latest iPod commercial. What do you think?

i watched Dr. No this past weekend, too! i thought the opening credits were neat but they didn't remind me of the new iPod ads. i can see the resemblance, though. perhaps someone at Apple was inspired by Sir Connery's first Bond film.

Gotta luv those politically incorrect Bond opening credits! Too bad they have shyed away from them in Casino Royale!
