View Full Version : Potential video card problem with G5

OK, I've been having problems with my NEC 1250 since I got my PM G5. I thought the monitor was dying, but now I think it's the video card. I've been getting a single white line across the center of my monitor if I use it for longer than 2 or 3 hours. If I restart the computer it's fixed, but if I just turn off/on the monitor it's the same. It's still under waranty. Should I take it back? BTW- my warranty expires in March, so any quick answers would be great. :)

Are there any heat sensors on the card that you could use to track the temperature? Is it possible that it's heating up too much as you use it?

Yes, there are heat sensors and it rarely goes above 120 degrees F
