Are you speaking of folding @ home? or the seti@ home? For folding our team number is 3446 and there is a FAQ in this section.

you just did... or almost. head over to Stanford (http://folding.stanford.edu/download.html) and download the software that is right for your system, enter your username and the team number of 3446, and let it run forever more.
