Hi all-

My brother's going to be buying a new computer, probably tonight, and is buying simply to play Flight Sim X (deluxe) on. He's a serious FS gamer, and is willing to spend around $700 tops for a system.

However, it's been a while since I used a PC regularly, and AMD and Intel's new processor naming schemes have me lost, along with everything else going on in the PC world.

So my question is:

What stock systems (that I can get tonight at a retailer such as CC or BB) would be best for running Flight Sim X at around the $700 price point?

For the record, we've got no Fry's anywheres around here, so please don't suggest anything from there.

Links to retailer's websites would be appreciated!

Thank you!

seems like to the games is a system hog, and needs some serious grunt. $700 is middling grunt money tbh.

Been there, done that. At Circuit city they had it running nicely on some of the demo machines for around $650, but I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions.
