Recovered Files

Hi guys ... A lot of times after I restart, I have a recovered files folder in my recycle bin. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks! :)

make sure the apps you are using are closed properly before you shutdown.

why would anybody shutdown their computer?

Nothing to worry about, it's normal. Just temp files Mac OS X didn't quite know what to do with on the last shut down. [Link (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.4/en/mh2267.html)]

Thanks for the info guys! Sometimes, if I just have iChat open, I will just shut down my macbook - that could be it I guess.
