Diablo2 Patch 1.1 Release??

When do you think will Blizzard FINALLY release the 1.1 Patch of Diablo 2??? Anybody heard a rumor? any ideas?

I still say never, when the rumor came LAST YEAR that 1.1 was coming it was great, now the game is old and crippled. With hacks and glitches and bugs ramped.

Sorry, DII had its day to shine.

I dont care how old the Diablo II is..
I dont care how much they make us wait..
I still play Diablo with lots of friends..
I still love my sorceress... My MooNFiRe (lev. 89)...

anybody have an "valuable" idea for the patch??

im at the blizzard forms alot and I would have to say that it is getting close to being done, its in the final stages and it will add alot to the game :D my guess is maybe a couple months, there is no offical date set.

The reason for it taking so long is because they only have two people working on it, blizzard is working on so many projects right now they are spread kind of thin...

I didnt know that there were only 2 people working on DII..

Look, I remember, last year on the DIi gaming boards they all said it was coming, they even had screenshots, last year.

What happened since, everyone left, hacks are ramped, duping, cheating the gambling system... etc.

Im not going off the rumors on the blizzard boards, since you have been to the boards then you know blizzard employees post quite often, and they stated that it was entering the final stages.. I will try and find a quote, maybe I was confusing it for something its not, Just trying to help :D

that'd be cool if it came out...it still runs a little sketchily in OS X, (especially with Millions of colors), and its not the computer (G4 867, 512MB, Geforce 3), It runs better on my g3 400 w/ 64 mB ram...i dunno hope it comes soon

I wouldnt say never they have shown some new screenshots of the patch and the guy on the diabloii.net site got to play it but had to sign an NDA it looks like things are coming along but they might as well not make it at all if they release it after WoW comes out :\

I saw 1.1 Screen Shots last year, they had it on a private server, some guy quit and took it with him, lol! ;)

they are throwing a few bones to the Dii formers now (screen shots, some changes that will be in it, etc) because it is getting pretty bad I would have to say 1 out of 10 posts is "We need 1.10 Now!!"
