2.Can i install windows using bootcamp and then use it with parallel?
3.How much ram would i need on a mac book for parallels to run windows vista and ubuntu at once? (i dont really need this setup ,just to show off my macbook(when i get one) to friends)
4.Can i boot linux live cds?

1. I don't know, never actually tried...
2. Yes, with the newest betas (http://www.parallels.com/en/products/desktop/beta_testing/) (you need to install some parallels tools while booted into "boot-camp windows", and there has been some reported problems, but it should work in most cases).
3. You can give each OS as much RAM as you want. I've given XP a whole GB, while Win2000 have to make due with 384MB and both run side by side, though with just 2GB RAM on my MacBook, that doesn't leave much for regular Mac OS X multitasking... ;)
4-5. Don't know
6. The new Intel Macs (and some older PPC Macs) can boot Mac OS X off USB disks, but I don't know about other OSs...

Another question:
In school there is a network of power pc macs.
Is there any way to link a mac book up to this network and access the internet connection and my documents stored on the network?

1. iSight does not currently work in Parallels (but does in VMWare I believe)
7. they have different hardware, so it may screw stuff up on the OS startup. never tried it though.
