I promised Nermal I would recognize him on the 29th of January, although I am not entirely clear what holiday is involved... so I am going with Nermal Day. Today is the first annual Nermal day. Happy Nermal day! :)

And, god, is this thread headed to the wasteland in a hurry. Hopefully not before Nermal sees it. ;)

So that's what it is! I looked up NZ's national holiday, and it wasn't that (but he is from NZ), and the global holiday website I found had nothing.

Thet's a but ruch uf you ask me. Anyway, from across the dutch I tup my het to you Nermal, hope thus day sees you enjoying a day of leisure, possibly cruising on a fufty-foot skuff with a chully bun and a comfy pair of jandals.

Just watch thet your skupper hes been suffuciuntly vugulunt un securing the chully bun or ut may hut you un the hid and make you druft unto obluvion end by the time the lustlusness hes lufted the chully bun may hev dusappeared.

It's a major New Zealand holiday, Nermal is from New Zealand, and this must have been part of some kind of inside joke 2.5 years ago, although to be honest, my own memory of the details at this point are scarce.

I knew this thread would be wastelanded, but I never thought it would be by me. And yet here we are. :)
