Hi guys,

Here's the ebay listing:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=019&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=290075136073&rd=1&rd=1

I was wondering if this would work with my 15" G4 Powerbook, 1.5gig Aluminium version - looking to replace the screen

Not sure as the listing says 15.2" and thought that it MAY be for the Titanium model, not Alu...

Anyway, thanks for the advice!

I'm not really sure, but in the auction it says you can just ask him and he'll inform you about compatibility. Unless of course you've already done that and suspect that he might be wrong. I'd say if you aren't entirely sure if it will work for you, there's plenty of other screen auction you could turn to.

Well I did email, but haven't got a reply yet - and the auction is coming to a close and it's a great price for a lcd panel (i think) compared to the other auctions...

It could be just me, but it sounds mildly suspicious... there is more than one 15" LCD panel for the aluminum Powerbooks -- one for the original 15"er and one for the "HD" 15"er.

The former is a 15.2" 1280x854, and the latter is a 15.2" 1440x960, I think.

All G4 PowerBooks have 15.2" screens so my advice would be that this is compatible.

As it may be, the guy is a Powerseller with 100% + feedback and the sale is covered by Paypal's £500 buyer protection. No risk here in my opinion.
