Ok

when ever I log out of OS X 10.2.6 my Hard-disk Icon get put down to the bottom of my computer screen.

Is there any reason for this and how do I make it stop.?

Is you Grid Snapping on and your dock on the right?

I find that I've had your problem when these two items are true in my system.

No

I have the dock at the bottom of the screen and grid snapping turned OFF.

Any more idears

Ok. Turn on the grid snap, locking the GUI into a pattern more rigid, but leave the dock on the bottom.

Watch the behavior for a while and see if that works
