I have seen in the Apple store and I've looked on Amazon and I've seen many books written about OSX and different Apps. Many of the OSX books look fairly juvenile and I was looking for something to take me to the next level. I'm not a beginner but I'm also not an expert. I would gradually like to work up my knowledge but I don't know a good source to start with. Besides here of course. :D Any help is greatly appreciated.

Aren't those a bit too basic or is there useful information after the beginner stuff.

What sort of stuff are you looking to do?

Mac OS X Tiger Killer Tips (http://www.amazon.com/Mac-OS-Tiger-Killer-Tips/dp/0321290542/sr=8-1/qid=117020983?ie=UTF8&s=books) is a great book for all but the most expert and contains some very useful things - plus no tip is more than half a page.

Thanks for the idea I'll have to check it on Amazon. In answer to your question I wanted to really master OSX and its Apps and then I would expand into other programs. I hope I explained myself correctly.
