Without the NFL license I dont know how well it will sell.

It should help EA produce a better Madden though.

Wait, didn't EA sign some exclusive rights with the NFL?

Does that mean this game will not be using NFL players?

They don't seem to address it in the website.

I believe this is going to be a "Legends" game.

Where all the players are not current players, but past hall of famers.

To tell you the truth I don't care if they made up a league as long as they bring the goodness from past 2k football games.

There is always the CFL and the other one...whats it called now..

While EA has exclusivisty with the nflpa(the players union) they don't have rights with retired players(as retired players are no longer part of the union). Essentially they will be creating a legends game with the likes of hallofamers. IF this game sell well hopefully the nfl will reconsider the most dumbassed move they have made in the last 15 years.

Without the NFL license I dont know how well it will sell.

It should help EA produce a better Madden though.
