Airport Express with Netgear

Probably a stupid question, but upon reading on the Apple website, I wasn't sure of the answer as they only go on about using it with the Airport Extreme. Can I use the Airport Express with a Netgear router, so enhance the wireless strength for other areas of my house?

i wouldnt see why not.... after all its just wireless technology, not some special "apple" technology haha. go for it

Short answer -- Apple does do something special in regards to how its Airport products can be used to wirelessly expand a wireless network, so you'll need to do some research if you want to use it to expand a network that isn't all Apple.
