Hi all, i was wondering if i could compile the source(listed as linux version) of memtestx86 and use that to test my memory instead of paying 2$ for the osx version. Yea i know im cheap :P

By the way is xcode included on the original system discs that come with a new macbook? I would rather not download the 900meg file :P.
My discs are kind of randomly stored around my house

You should have xcode on the discs that came with the MB, i had it on my MBP restore disks.

Cool, but i decided to get "rember" and run the memtest from that since it was free.
