Not getting mail after installing wireless router

I am not getting mail on my macbook pro after installing a wireless router. i am not having any problem acessing the internet, or sending mail. But it will not get any new messages.
 
If I send an email to myself it comes through. but if I send myself an email from another email adress it does not come through?
