This (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19463) is a pretty cool matrix code screensaver, for OS X :)

Looks great when used with Backlight (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/16015)

:)

download the set of screen savers, and one of them called Xirtam is the matrix code. It runs on osX.

check this one out... has 3d movement with the lines of code moving from deep in the screen up to the foreground, as well as falling down.

Yes, those both at the same time rule, a little CPU hog, but it is nice.

do you guys really see your backgrounds long enough to justify running a screensaver back there? to me, that seems just a bit crazy for what it costs in CPU time. but then, i never see much of my BG.

Acually it is kinda cool, if you set it on the lowest priority and then it uses less CPU, anyway the matrix is mad cool!

Fo Shizzle.

also on a sidenote (not really) why does everyone manage to guess what my screensaver looks like
it's the red pill one that someone posted a versiontracker link to...it looks most like the real matrix code. the other ones are not the same...
btw the matrix website has a screensaver-mac os 9 only. why can't they waste some time making screensavers for jaguar? a lot of matrix fans use it...

Yes, I know the original quote, but that wouldn't of made much sense. each to his own... what, who to what's own? ;)

Try that on any screen saver, it is a really nice add-on.

Tee hee, what's great about Red Pill 1.2 is that you can use the config to make LOTS of lines of code Float down your screen, this coupled with Desktop effects (an app that lets you use a screen saver as a background), and triple monitors is Orgasmic :)

backlight, which we've mentioned, does the same thing.

you have three monitors, (if so) you bastard?!

BTW, is that even Possible?

I have *heard* (but never seen) dual monitors for a PowerMac, but never tri-monitors.

That would be iinnnsaaanneee.

That would be iinnnsaaanneee. you can sure do it on a PC. you just buy a dual head video card for the AGP and then a PCI vid card.

I don't have triple monitors, I was saying that in theory it would Look AWESOME...I do have an external monitor hooked up to me PB though :)

that would be cool if you could hook one thing up DVI and one up to the s-video out and do triple monitor, heh.
