Authenticating Applications Folder

Hi.

Whenether I try to put a new file into my applications folder I get told that the Applications Folder cannot be modified and I have the option to authencate.

This never used to happen before. Something to do with disk permissions?

Are you running in an administrator account?

Try repairing disk permissions in Disk Utility.
