Now that dual-layer discs are in a more affordable price range, it's time to upgrade.

This drive is an NEC ND-2510A. It was purchased ~2 years ago from Lacie. Here (http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/Reviews/Specific.aspx?ArticleId=9803) are all the specifications as to read/write capabilities.

It will burn SOME dual layer discs, including Verbatim, but not the newer Memorex ones that I have. It is a reliable drive that has not yet failed to burn a disc properly.

I'm looking for about $30 shipped for this. Reasonable offers to the contrary will most likely be accepted. I'll accept Paypal and USPS money orders.

Edit: To recap all the stuff I forgot earlier, this is an internal drive, used in a Lacie d2 external enclosure that I need for my new drive. Also, it has a black faceplate.

Oops, forgot to mention that. This is an INTERNAL drive.

Sorry for any confusion.

Also, I forgot to mention I have feedback on Heatware under willhill.

The drive was used in a Lacie d2 external enclosure, which I am reusing with my new drive.

Anyone? This will go elsewhere in a couple days if no one wants it.

If only I hadn't spent my cash on this HD. ;)

I would have botten it. If a month or so it's still for sale, I will.

This thing's still sitting around. I got my new drive, and it came in a nice box with foam and everything. That means this one will get where it's going safe and sound. As soon as someone wants it, I'll send it out.
