Super Bowl halftime show rocked!

Did you see Prince on the halftime show? That was a great performance!

Almost as good as when U2 scrolled the names of the 09/11 victims a few years ago.

I am not a Prince fan, but I thought the visual effect was pretty cool and dramatic (despite what some people in the other thread thought).

I'm not really a Prince fan too much (he's pretty decent but very overrated in my opinion), but i still enjoyed the show. I especially liked that purple guitar he had with the really long curved edge... looked really cool.

What was up with the popped up collar on the sky blue jacket though :confused: :D :p

Prince is pretty much a god. The show was great, the music was great (and fitting) -- nice to be in the presence of a genuine performer amidst all the ugly halftime shows past.

I think we should put him into one of those categories in which his music should never be remixed or played outside of just "wanting to learn how to play great music" :)

i was disturbed by the silhouette showing well, images of the devil. i didn't like that part or the purple rain part.

it was good besides that, but the thunder should have been cut out due to the rain.

I have to say, though, I dug the Marching Band instrumentations, particularly during Purple Rain.
