Problems with iMac and Belkin G+

I have just installed a new iMac and Belkin G+ wireless router. The system works fine as long as the network is unprotected. The moment I set the security settings of the router to protect the network, iMac does not connect. This is strange since my PC laptops connect without problem. After typing the password, iMac simply states that an error occured. I tried both 128 bit and 64 bit.

Have you tried entering the password as hex values rather than text? That solved it for me.
