Stolen pic! Will Apple sue them?

Look closely to the attached picture...
I recieved that ad for our local supermarket today, and the desktop pic is stolen from OS 8.6 and the bondi iMacs!! Argh!
Could Apple sue those guys about that? What do you think? This is shameless...!

I am sure apple did not create the desktop pictures. there is no reason to sue :)

Actually apple has those pictures licensed...

And they should be sued, but it doesn't matter.

yeah, i have to wonder why the hell you would get worked up about a copyright infringement in a German tech store ad. it's so petty to begin with. why they even bothered is an interesting trivia, but pursuing this legally isn't even worth the trouble. i have to wonder if German copyright laws even forbid this.

Unless Apple owns the picture, but I'm sure it's licensed. My (old) school's Compaq laptops had a wallpaper almost equal to OSX's default walpaper. However, I feel that Apple doesn't stake too much claim in foreign markets. So sueing them (Gericom) won't make too much sense.
