Flashback gameplay

Anybody play that old game called Flashback? Well, I found a copy of the game for the Mac, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to run, jump, and then hold on to a ledge on a level above; using the keyboard, of course.

Does anybody remember how to do that? (BTW, you can find the game at http://mac.the-underdogs.org/ -- it still works in Classic, but set your screen to 256 colors otherwise it just quits without even an error message.)

just thought i'd say i liked the original 'Out Of This World' better.

and i think i have played a version of flashback on os x, but after a bit of searching i couldn't find it on the internet. i could have it backed up somewhere....

Yeah, well, see, Out of this World doesn't run on OS 9 or Classic. So that's kind of out of the question. But Flashback does, so that's why I'm playing it.

Anybody have an answer to my original question, though? ;)

you know, vacuum cleaners don't suck, they create a - wait for it - *vacuum* that can be filled by others stuff... only ****ty vacuum cleaners suck, not in the esoteriic sense... you know what i mean!
