i've got this map of africa from my human geography class and each country's border is dotted. i'm permitted to use my mac and use the paint bucket but since i have the dotted lines, its not easy.

is there any way to change all the dotted lines all at once instead of going over the whole thing and connecting the borders?

Are you only allowed to use Photoshop?

If you could use Illustrator, it'd be pretty easy (if I'm imagining your photo correctly). You could bring it in, Live Trace it, change the gap options, and then use Live Paint to color it in.

Photoshop is going to be a bit trickier.. and as qpawn already asked, we'd need to see the image first to figure out a plan of attack.
