Mac Office 2004 Education Purchase

Hi! New switcher here.

I just went through trying to purchase MS Mac Office 2004 from Amazon. I got to the point where I just have to confirm my cc # to complete the purchase, but then I realized it never verified my education pricing eligibility for this version of Mac Office 2004.

How does MS verify that I'm eligible for education pricing? Is it also true that the Education pricing is no longer limited to just students/teachers, but to all non-business users?

i'd think most retailers just take your word as well. and i suppose you'd violate the license agreement if you weren't a student.
