Zune?!

my friend has a zune. Hes a M$ lover which i hate but w/e. he tells me that he buys stuff from the itunes store and just puts them on his zune. he doesnt convert anything. How is this possible i though apple has drm on there stuff.

He is lying or mistaken. Apple's stuff is DRMed just like the Zune store's is. Is he sure he isn't using the Zune store?

However, you can burn and audio CD and then re-rip to a format that can be put on the Zune. But that is modifying the files first.

It's not possible. Maybe he is confusing the Zune store with the iTunes store.

He says he does it with the video's as well? Are you sure he doesn't have an iPod and is just calling it a Zune?

Video's from the iTunes store can not be put on anything other than an iPod. your friend has either gotten the Zune store and the iTunes store mixed up or he has an iPod and is calling it a Zune.
