I don't think I'm all that familiar w/ a ton of Police songs, but I would love love love to see them live. It's pretty exciting that they're doing this. :o

Im sure you have heard there music....Roxanne, Message In a Bottle, Every Breath You Take....I knooooow. But those are like, the only songs I know. I'd feel like such a poser at their concert. :o I hate it if I only know some of the big hits of any group I'm seeing live. :o

Well its only been 20 years since their last tour. I have always hoped they would get back together, maybe they will release a new studio album.

*yaw* I was mildly interested in this until I saw the grammy performance, now I don't care. I even saw some of the press conference performance and it was equally as boring.

zzzz

the real reunion of the summer is David Lee Roth with Van Halen!... not that I'd pay to see that either. What about Prince? is he doing a tour? Since the Superbowl I have a new found respect for the man.

I was/am a big Police fan back in the day. Saw them twice and Sting once. I stood about twenty feet in front of Sting for the "Regatta de Blanc" tour. Great concert...relaxed musicians doing their stuff. This was before "Synchronicity" where Sting was dressed in a silly jacket and ran around the stage all night.

I definitely felt the energy from the Grammy performance. I'd love to go see them again.

devilot you should check out "Walking on the Moon" and "The Bed's too Big Without You" on the Regatta de Blanc cd/album/thingy. Ghost in the Machine is very good as well.

Things like this make me think of the classic line:

"Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money"

/sigh

I'm sure The Police reforming was one of the biblical signs of the apocalypse

This is way cool. They were one of my favorite bands growing up. Canary in a coal mine is a classic.

it's a bit like The Clash... 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go?', 'Rock The Casbah' and 'London Calling' isn't it. :p :p :p

...maybe they will release a new studio album.Given the stuff that Sting has been putting out over the past 20 years, I'm kind of hoping they don't bother with any new material. :o

I don't know, maybe they could do lute versions of their old hits.

This tour is nothing more than a cash grab.
