I just saw a new lacie hub and thought it looks pretty cool. But im wondering about functionality? Does anyone have any experience with it? Has anyone seen or used one? Its got some pretty cool features, but i dont want it if it is more gimic then useful.
So anyone got any reviews/comments?

This? Looks pretty cool but it's pretty expensive for a hub. Also - my hub is down under my desk out of site...even though this looks cool I'm not sure I would want it sitting on my desk.

I was wondering what the hell kind of hub you were talking about. Now I see...it's a Franken-hub. Actually, Medusa-hub. That thing is nuts! How practical would that be, really? Aside from the fact that it's rather ugly, think about what it's going to be like once you actually start plugging stuff into it.

Bought one last week - a 500GB version in a mini format. Its sweet and half a terabyte rocks.

that's not worth $80. a d-link or belkin would definitely be less expensive, and a smarter choice, IMO.
