Hello,
have read/heard in the past that you shouldnt have 2 wifi enabled laptops too close to each other since they say it can damage each other.
how about having 2 wifi routers? do they need to be separated? if so, by how much?
Thanks

They're not going to damage each other. They might cause interference, but that's about it. If you're having signal problems, just experiment -- move them apart until it works right. Or just change the channel on one of them -- that's what that feature is designed for, signal separation.

Also, if the new 802.11n Extreme is one of your routers, you have the option of running the 802.11n network on the 5ghz band, which shouldn't interfere with the 2.4ghz band that the Linksys uses for 802.11b/g
I'm doing that with the new Extreme (only instead of a Linksys, I'm using an older Airport Extreme, and it's literally sitting right on top of the new Extreme) and I don't see any interference/noise when I run network tools like iStumbler.
